    U.S. Border Control

    SPECIAL ALERT! SPECIAL ALERT!
    Major Effort to Stop Amnesty Underway
    March 2006
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Executive Summary: This is a critical hour for immigration reform. We need to deluge the U.S. Senate with thousands of email letters demanding that they vote against ANY immigration bill that has anything to do with AMNESTY, including ALL Guest Worker legislation.
    This Alert is filled with important information that I hope you will take the time to review. But if you don't have the time to read it right now, please click on the link below to send your urgent emails right now.
    Dear Concerned Citizen:
    As you are reading this email alert, the Senate Judiciary Committee is marking up several immigration bills, all of which contain amnesty in one form or another.
    Every week in March, Senate Judiciary Chairman Arlen Specter will be convening "mark-up" sessions for amnesty/Guest Worker bill.
    While the bill’s authors may call them “guest worker” programs, make no mistake, they all offer amnesty for illegal aliens.
    I need your help to stop these bills from being passed.
    But before I tell you what I hope you can do, let me remind you of why granting amnesty to tens of millions of illegal aliens is one of the most destructive actions any politician could take against the country he has sworn to serve.
    Amnesty will give millions of illegal aliens full access to America’s social services, including Social Security benefits; Medicare and Medicaid benefits; and every other federal and state benefit that was established for hard working American citizens.
    This amnesty, like all the previous amnesties, will cause a tidal wave of illegal aliens to surge across the border, perhaps as many as 10,000 PER DAY, overwhelming our Border Patrols, and making it all too easy for drug smugglers and terrorists to enter our country.
    Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Arlen Specter has been around long enough to know all this, and yet, he has offered his own amnesty bill which would legalize every lawbreaker who arrived here before 2004 -- at least 10 million people.
    Please Email your Senators Now!!
    Since 1986, Senators have offered amnesty as the solution to our border and immigration crises. Most often, these amnesty bills contained an enforcement provision that made the bills sound better, but in reality, those provisions were only window dressing.
    If the Senate had any interest at all in stopping illegal immigration, they could have approved any number of good enforcement bills and amendments passed by the House, but rejected by the U.S. Senate, time and time again.
    They could have lent their support for House bills putting troops on the border, banning Matricula Consular cards, punishing employers for hiring illegals, banning instant citizenship for the babies of illegal aliens, or passing a moratorium on all immigration until the nation had absorbed the tens of millions of immigrants overwhelming our society.
    But the Senate has done none of these things because its goal is not to stop illegal migration.
    If our Senators had done their job, illegal immigration would have ended twenty years ago and our President would not have be warning Americans that Social Security, Medicare and all the other critical systems that we depend on are in deep trouble.
    You are part of a massive campaign to rally the American people against this latest round of amnesty bills and to demand Congress pass “enforcement only” legislation with no amnesties and no so- called “guest worker” provisions.
    Our lobbyists are on Capitol Hill right now. They are going to every briefing, every meeting, and taking every opportunity to tell Senators and their staff that any bills that contain amnesty are unacceptable under any circumstances.
    And we are urging Majority Leader Senator Frist to exercise his considerable authority to prevent Senators from adding any guest worker amendments to recently passed “enforcement only” House bill.
    Senator Frist, as a possible candidate for president in 2008, needs to learn quickly that the American people are revolted by the idea of granting any kind of amnesty to illegal aliens.
    It is important to understand that, unlike the House, the U.S. Senate has no time limits on debate, unless every Senator agrees to set such a limit. This is called “unanimous consent.”
    That is why when you see the Senate on television, you hear the phrases, “I ask unanimous consent that ...” and “without objection, it is so ordered” many times each day.
    Please Send your Email Today
    A single Senator need only say “NO” or “I object” when unanimous consent is requested to stop any bill in its tracks. This means that one Senator from either party can slow or stop any amnesty/guest worker legislation, if he is willing to take the heat.
    I have posted email alerts on our website so you and other concerned citizens in your state can convince your two Senators to find the courage to stand up to the President and to the open borders crowd by saying NO! to any bills that include amnesty or guest worker provisions.
    The email letter reminds them that, five years after 9/11, thousands of people cross our unprotected borders daily.
    It reminds them that, since 1986, a half dozen amnesty programs have proven that amnesty solves nothing, but actually encourages massive illegal migration.
    And it asks that they put a hold on any bills that offer amnesty or guest worker provisions.
    With several amnesty bills already in the hopper, it is urgent that your two Senators learn where their constituents stand on amnesty – sooner rather than later.
    So please send emails to your Senators as soon as you can.
    May I ask you to do one more thing for me? We also need your financial support.
    Since we began this effort in 1988, I cannot recall a greater opportunity to get something done than right now.
    The American people are aroused and angry; Members of Congress are starting to distance themselves from a President totally committed to open borders and mass immigration; and we are in an election year.
    While there is still no guarantee that we can win this battle, the odds are better today than ever before.
    That is why I am asking that you consider making a special contribution to our work so we can have the funds necessary to fight and win this battle.
    Whether you can donate $5 or $500, your contribution will be gratefully acknowledged and put to work immediately in this battle that we really need to win.
    If you would like to learn a little more about us before you decide to make a contribution, click below where it says "More About Us" to see what prominent people are saying about our organization.
    And, finally, you need to know that your gifts are 100% refundable, at any time and for any reason or no reason. If you are not happy with our performance, we don't deserve your money. it is that simple.
    Thank you.
    Sincerely,
