FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
YCT to Remains Committed to Opposing Illegal Immigration
University of North Texas (Denton, TX) – Only one year after the Young
Conservatives of Texas at the University of North Texas made national
news protesting illegal immigration, the issue is now at the forefront
of America's political dialogue. In order to keep the issue
prescient, YCT will be hosting Invasion, a two-day event meant to
educate the public about the national security threats posed by
illegal immigration.
"Illegal immigration remains the most important issue facing Americans
today," said Chairman Kelsey Stokes. "It affects every aspect of our
daily lives, and threatens our nation's security. Our government is
neglecting its constitutional duty to protect American citizens."
"YCT is proud to be among the leaders of the opposition to illegal
immigration in Texas," said Chad Janicek, Publicity and Media
Director. "We will continue to give this issue top priority, because
as a nation, we simply cannot afford to do otherwise."
"Congressional leaders like Tom Tancredo (R-CO) are leading the charge
in Washington," said Michele Connole, Executive Director, "and we are
dedicated to doing our part here at home."
The event will take place on Wednesday, March 8, and Thursday, March
9, from 10am to 10pm both days. YCT will be distributing literature
with information about the vast threat to our national security, as
well as keeping a counter to track the number of illegal immigrants
who have entered this country during the event. The group will also "live-blog" the event at http://www.yct-unt.org/issues

YES!
Welcome MJ and boy am I glad to see that some of our young people have not been dumbed down and are active in taking control of their future!
I am very proud of all of you! It is very important for the young people to get involved and informed about what is happening around them, not just with illegal immigration, but politics, etc. It is ya'lls future that is at stake and you must help shape it. Again, I am very proud of you! It gives us the incentive we need to keep fighting for our kids future and makes it all worthwhile!
Please keep us posted on what is happening. We are with ya!Resistance to tyrants is obedience to God
