Mexican presidential candidate Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) called for mass immigration to the United States during a speech Tuesday declaring it a “human right” for all North Americans.

“And soon, very soon — after the victory of our movement — we will defend all the migrants in the American continent and all the migrants in the world,” Obrador said, adding that immigrants “must leave their towns and find a life in the United States.”

He then declared it as “a human right we will defend,” eluniversal.com reports.

While the election is not until July 1, Obrador is by far the frontrunner.

Obrador in April delivered speech criticizing Trump and promising that Mexico will not become a “piñata” for any foreign government, Global News reports.

The former mayor of Mexico City, Obrador holds progressive populist views. The 64-year-old ran unsuccessfully for president twice before, according to DW.

Fox’s Tucker Carlson noted Thursday that Obrador has previously proposed granting amnesty to Mexican drug cartels. “America is now Mexico’s social safety net, and that’s a very good deal for the Mexican ruling class,” Carlson added.

I presume that he will remove the guards and fencing along Mexico's southern border immediately! Typical leftist, wants to give away what belongs to someone else while protecting what his country has.

So he wants all Mexican citizens to leave Mexico and move to the United States!

Oh, and don't think this isn't going to encourage every able bodied person south of the border to start storming our country. It will look like an hour glass, where the U.S. is the bottom of the glass and Mexico and their southern neighbors are the top part. These countries, especially Mexico, will be drastically losing population because they will all be coming here. What the hell are our politicians thinking? I would really like to know.

Andrés Manuel López Obrador knows his call will be answered by the poor, uneducated, unemployed and underemployed living in the many poor villages and city slums throughout Mexico. His call for them to leave for the United States is actually a pretty smart move. In my view this is all about ridding Mexico of the poor and having them gain employment in the U.S. so they can send remittances back to their families in Mexico. It's a win win proposition for Mexico. It's already been going on for decades. Obrador just wants to up the ante and get more players in the game.

Again Beezer, if we don't keep them detained in detention centers until their hearing, so we can send them back, they will be released into our population, where they will become a permanent part of our population. I'm all for having them detained and deported.

And maybe while these camps are built, Trump can hire the additional judges he needs to speed up the process of sending them back.
