Report: Jared and Ivanka Support Extending DACA

President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner support the idea of extending DACA, according to a report in the New York Times.


The couple, who both serve as advisers to the president, traditionally signal their opposition to several of the president’s more controversial decisions. They wanted to seem more supportive of gay and transgender rights, keeping the United States in the Parisclimate change agreement, and distancing themselves from Trump’s remarks after the violent events in Charlottesville.

Top business leaders including major Silicon Vally executives at Facebook, Amazon, and Apple have voiced desperate appeals to the president in the hopes that he will extend the program. Kushner worked extensively with Silicon Valley leaders putting together his American Technology Council at the White House, many who could leave in protest if Trump ends DACA.

The White House remains silent about the president’s intentions as he has nothing on his public schedule for Labor Day. The DACA decision is expected to be announced on Tuesday.

No surprise.

If this is true, Trump needs to give them both the boot and ship them back to New York. So far, they have not proven to be of any value to his Agenda. Jared and others did a great job setting up the Gulf States meeting, and Jared may have some special talent yet to be seen in negotiating a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians, but whatever his unique talents are in that regard if they exist, need to be and can be done from New York. Ivanka, pretty to look at when her hair is up, can't stand that stringy hair when it's not, but so far outside of an idea for pregnancy leave benefits, which I don't care about one way or the other, what has her contribution been besides occupying space??!!

Time to send them back to New York or keep them in DC but not in the White House.

From this report, they really do not get it when it comes to "America First" as it relates to immigration.

They do not get it, because they really don't understand the forgotten Americans who have been thrown to the wind by horrible immigration and trade policies. Trump does, he grew up with the forgotten Americans, he hung out with them, and even though his family was financially better off in most cases, Trump liked the workers and the tenants, he understood them, he knew they were the back-bone of everything good that was happening or could happen. He's known that his whole life.

Nobody voted for or elected Trump's daughter and husband and the fact they are working in our White House smells of nepotism!

They need to go back to New York, but not because they weren't elected, but because they're young, uninformed, and out of their own woods. Look at the Congress, those are the ones who were elected, Lankford, Flake, McCain, Cotton, Ryan and so many others. Those are the ones who deserve the wrath. Jared and Ivanka need to go back to New York because that's the world they know and can do well in. They aren't doing any good in DC. President loves them and likes having them close so he can see them without having to travel to New York to see them, so maybe they stay in DC with a second home, but they don't need to be in the White House.

President Donald Trump is easily influenced and who better to influence him than his own daughter and son-in-law? Truth be known, John Kelly probably filters out the likes of Stephen Miller from seeing the president, but finds it difficult to do the same for family.

Where did you get the idea that Trump is "easily influenced"? Did you read that in the Washington Post or the New York Times? Trump is as hard-headed as they come. Geez.
