With 1 in 5 americans out of work...we have a right to be angry.

APOn Tuesday, police in Cloquet, MN, arrested 13 illegal aliens during a routine traffic stop.

Cloquet Deputy Chief Terry Hill told the Duluth News Tribune that when their van was pulled over for a traffic violation, one of the men promptly told the officer that he was in the country illegally.

The Mexican nationals had been hired by a Georgia contractor, and were in Cloquet, doing maintenance work at the Sappi paper mill.

According to Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency spokesman Gregory Palmore, all of the illegal aliens were taken into custody and are now awaiting a deportation hearing.

ICE is also investigating their employer.

Sappi Fine Paper is a multi-national corporation, with four paper mills in the United States.

Amy Olson, manager of corporate communications for Sappi’s U.S operation, told the Duluth News Tribune: “Agents of the federal government inspected the employment documentation of employees of a contractor of Sappi pertaining to its Cloquet mill site. It is Sappi Fine Paper North America’s policy to comply fully with the immigration laws, and Sappi requires the same of its contractors.â€
