Good! Yes, use diplomacy and economic sanctions to stop this at the source in their home countries.

Potential Temporary Relocation of 20,000 Immigrant Children to Military Bases in Texas

    June 25, 2018

    Press Release

WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) issued the following statement in response to the administration’s plans to utilize U.S. military bases in Texas as a temporary relocation site for 20,000 detained immigrant children.

“While I retain my objection to the Trump administration’s ‘zero-tolerance’ policy, multiple administrations have used military bases for the temporary relocation of American detainees,” Congressman Gonzalez said. “However, this is another example of the current administration’s after-the-fact scrambling to make up for poor planning. You should have the necessary resources in place before enacting a policy. In the future, I would caution President Trump and his administration to look before they leap.”

MCALLEN, Texas - As tensions along the border rise and Democrats getting ready to take control of the house, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez gives his thoughts and his plan of action.
Gonzalez says the time for talk and rhetoric is over and the time for legislative action is now.
"I think we need it, the economy needs it, we need to have law and order in our border. In order to do that we need to have some good immigration laws."

Gonzalez says the escalation of aggression of U.S. soldiers against migrants seeking asylum is not helpful. Although he fully supports the U.S. Military, they are ill prepared to dealing with the border. Gonzalez says the time for immigration reform is now.

"I'm part of the problem solvers caucus. There 22 Republicans and 22 Democrats. We've had a very engaging conversation and before we left last week, about leading an immigration bill that makes sense to this country, I think it's over due."

Gonzalez says he feels diplomatic solutions are working with Mexico in securing their southern border will aid in the immigration issue, it's not the only solution. Gonzalez says he hopes to see Congressional action which include programs like guest worker programs.

"I've heard this from our home builders association, I hear this from the agriculture industry in our country, and many other offices that they need the labor in order to continue to grow our economy we need to import labor."

He says now that Democrats will be taking over the house, he hopes to see his party take the lead in passing meaningful immigration legislation.

"We have a lot to prove now, we've been talking about it, the rhetoric is over. We need to offer some bills, some good amendments and get them to the floor to vote. Nancy Pelosi has told me to my face that she intends to bring an immigration bill in this next session to congress."

Next week Vicente Gonzalez will be attending the incoming Mexican president's inauguration and plans on discussing Mexico's role in creating immigration solutions.

Yeah, there you go! DemoQuacks at the helm, crafting big immigration bills. I'm sure you'll love 'em. America wants bills that "make sense to this country" to "import labor" so we can "grow our economy" and have "law and order at the border" handing out food, water, medical care, shelter and guest worker permits. Americans don't want troops on the borders, they don't want US Marines defending our country from foreign invasion, because ..... uh, uh, uh, oh yeah, Marines are "ill-prepared" to handle invaders. Yes, America sent that message loud and clear by a 9 million vote margin on November 6, 2018.

This is now the official, on-the-record, counted and certified will of the American People, a Mandate.

And the Greatest Political Tragedy of All Time.

Go CREATE solutions on their soil.

They need economic opportunity, they need to work to build up their country!

No taxpayer money, no aid, no oatmeal.

They have land, they have resources...get investors to go down there!

Send in NATO troops to round up their gangs and put them in prison!
