Two Texas men were sentenced to federal prison for transporting illegal aliens, according to a news release from U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin.

Jesse James Joslin was sentenced to 18 months in prison.

Joslin previously pleaded guilty in August.

Joslin's co-defendant, Daniel Ricardo Gonzalez, was sentenced to one year and one day in prison. Gonzalez previously pleaded guilty in July.

Joslin and Gonzalez admitted to transporting nine illegal aliens from Houston.

The men were pulled over in South Charleston in March. Officers said they found all of the illegal aliens inside of the vehicle.

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Homeland Security Investigations and the South Charleston Police Department handled the investigation.
