Border Patrol authorities said Tuesday that 13 illegal immigrants were found inside a truck that looked like a Budweiser delivery van near the Mexican border Monday morning.

Tucson Sector Border Patrol Agents noticed the van at about 9 a.m. and said it appeared out of place, according to a news release.

Agents made a traffic stop and discovered the 13 people inside. Agents said eight were Chinese citizens and five were Mexican citizens. They were arrested and taken to the Tucson Border Patrol station.

The driver was also arrested and faces human smuggling charges, according to the report.

Plot to smuggle 13 immigrants revealed in fake 'Bud' van
    THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
TUCSON — Border Patrol agents have found a nonalcoholic cargo inside a white van bearing Budweiser beer logos.
They arrested 13 illegal immigrants Monday who were being smuggled inside the van, after stopping it near Three Points.
Border Patrol spokesman Rob Daniels says an agent noticed something abnormal about the van, which bore the name Golden Eagle Distributors, Inc., a Tucson distributor.
Daniels said the van was a different make of vehicle than that normally used by Golden Eagle.
In addition, the crown featured above the Budweiser name in the logo on the back door, which symbolizes the "King of Beers" trademark, was mostly painted on the door's window.
Daniels said agents who stopped the vehicle found eight illegal immigrants from Taiwan and five citizens of Mexico.

This also shows that the smugglers are working with anyone who is willing to pay...
