Minuteman project worthy of support
Monday, April 04, 2005

In addition to your opinion article [SEIFFE: 232 Year Later, Minutemen Return to Douglas, AZ? (March 31)], The Leader should also provide its readers with the website address of this effort.

I, myself, have reviewed it in detail [with thoughts of volunteering] and find it something every conservative should read to know the full extent of what's going on.

One example is that the response has been so overwhelming that they now have a long waiting list after over 1,100 volunteered by mid March. Another is they will still take some specialized people such as immigration lawyers and those trained in long-range surveillance.

But perhaps the most important aspect to this is that because of their unexpected, overwhelming response; they say they are in need of financial contributions. I can think of nothing better for The Leader to do then to spread the word, as Paul Revere did in his day, that as these good and decent Americans stand guard to protect us -- that we support them, in our small way, with a financial contribution.

May God Bless, and Protect, all of these fine Americans. And long live our Republic with men and women such as these!
