3 Other Mexican Nationals Studying at Weslaco Aviation School Deported

WESLACO - CHANNEL 5 NEWS has learned three other Mexican nationals were studying at Praat Flight Academy's Weslaco location.

The Department of Homeland Security visited that school last week. It sent those three students back across the border. The feds say they were all here studying how to fly in the United States without the proper paperwork!

In order to take flight classes in the United States, foreigners are required to have a student visa. The feds say the trio of Mexican nationals didn't have that type of visa. That's why they were deported last week.

The feds have detained 20-year-old Rodolfo Gonzalez-Gonzalez. He's the Mexican pilot accused of buzzing three boats near Port Mansfield two weeks ago.

We wanted to track down other schools like Praat that are legally operating in the Valley. The Federal Aviation Administration couldn't give us an answer. It says the FAA doesn't oversee those schools because instructors like the ones at Praat are contracted. They're not employees of the school.

U.S. Congressman Henry Cuellar represents the Valley. He also sits on the committee for Homeland Security. Because of our investigation, he will probe the committee for answers at a hearing next week.

Interesting! But then again illegals have apparently infiltrated all areas of our society.

Training pilots to fly drugs across, right now they are using ultralight aircraft in some areas to fly low drop drugs some of the pilots have poor training and have ended up in bad landings.

This will all continue and increase until we put troops on the border and close it down, and yes it can be done. The question is does our government really want the border "secure", if not why not.
