Voter fraud charges in Sunland Park have been filed against four more people, the Dona Ana County District Attorney's said on Friday.

Former city councilor Angelica Marquez, also facing extortion, bribery and other voter fraud charges, registered the four individuals to vote, District Attorney Amy Orlando said.

Out of the four people charged, three are from Texas.

Jose and Elizabeth Ramirez, reportedly used Marquez's address to register to vote in Sunland Park.

Both are related to Marquez and are from Texas, the DA's office said. Mathew Valenzuela, also from Texas, and Kenneth Owens, from Santa Teresa, N.M., registered to vote under Marquez's neighbor's address.

The DA's office said both Valenzuela and Owens voted in the recent Sunland Park election.

Daniel Salinas, Sunland Park mayor-elect who was never sworn in, was charged earlier in the year with 33 criminal charges from four separate cases.

Sunland Park still does not have a mayor.
