Analex Corp. of Fairfax won two contracts worth a total of $15.3 million over five years from the Indian Health Service. A $10.7 million contract is for staffing a network operations center to monitor information flow and security for 600 hospitals, clinics and facilities. A $4.6 million contract is for providing network security services to ensure protection of the agency's information systems.
BAE Systems Inc. of Rockville won a $13.3 million, 30-month contract from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency to develop next-generation wireless tactical network protocols for the military.
Comtech Mobile Datacom Corp. of Germantown won a $38.2 million contract from the U.S. Army to provide mobile satellite transceivers.
Accenture National Security Services LLC of Reston won a $69 million contract from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency for human capital management.
The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center awarded eight contractors, including Arrowhead Global Systems Inc. of Falls Church, Telecommunication Systems Inc . of Annapolis and SWE- DISH Satellite Systems of Reston, an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract totaling about $52.6 million for portable satellite communication terminals. The eight contractors will compete for delivery orders.
Shaw Environmental & Infrastructure Inc. of Alexandria won an $18.6 million contract from the Army Engineer District in Kabul, Afghanistan, for design, construction, and renovation of the G-2 Intelligence Headquarters Command, headquarters security brigade.
Beta Analytics Inc. of Fairfax, a division of Analex Corp., won a contract for up to $64.9 million from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency for administrative management and general management consulting services.
EDS Corp. 's government unit in Herndon won a $1.5 million contract from the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles to provide technical assistance for application development and support services.
General Dynamics Corp. of Falls Church's Fairfax-based IT division won a $23 million, two-year contract from the Army to upgrade communications and data network infrastructure at Fort Hood, Tex.
Project Performance Corp. of McLean won four contracts totaling $2.4 million from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to help manage licensing for new nuclear power reactors, to deploy a wireless local area network (LAN) to transmit sensitive but unclassified information, to modernize records management and to help in a security self-assessment of major information technology systems.
Unicor Federal Prison Industries Inc. of the District won a $17.3 million order as part of a $24.4 million contract from the Army Research, Development, and Engineering Command for outer tactical vest conversion kits in desert camouflage.
Booz Allen Hamilton of McLean won a $2 million contract from the Army Contracting Agency for administrative management and general management consulting services.
Pangborn Corp. of Hagerstown won a $2.3 million contract from the Army for industrial machinery manufacturing.
SDS International of Fredericksburg won a $3.2 million contract from the Air Force for custom computer programming services.
CACI Technologies Inc. of Chantilly won a $1.2 million contract from the Air Force Materiel Command for transitioning entropic analysis and modulation.
Hope Village Inc. of the District won a $15.9 million contract from the Justice Department's Bureau of Prisons for residential care facilities.
Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems of Linthicum Heights won a $3.2 million contract from the Air Force Research Laboratory for research and development in the physical, engineering and life sciences.
Wiley & Wilson Inc. of Alexandria won a $1 million contract from the Army Corps of Engineers for architectural services.
CSI Engineering of Greenbelt won a $7 million contract from the Army Corps of Engineers for engineering services.
