Media Blackout: Illegal Alien Hit With 90 Child Sexual Assault Charges

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, NC - On March 27, Pedro Rene Paguada , 58, was taken into custody and charged with an astounding number of crimes against children.

When this reporter phoned the Cumberland County Jail to confirm that a total of 94 charges had been lodged against Paguada, I was told by the deputy: "No sir, it's actually 96."

Those two extra charges were actually misdemeanor moving violations.

The list of charges against Paguada follows:-45 counts of Indecent Liberties with a Child
-43 counts of Child Abuse/Sexual Act
-Three counts of Statutory Sex Offense with a Child-Two counts of Second-Degree Forcible Sex Offense-One count of Statutory Rape-Driving on Revoked License-Speeding (60 mph in 45 Zone)

Paguada is currently being held at the Cumberland County Jail on $1,160,000 bond.

Cumberland County Sheriff Ennis W. Wright is one of a handful of so-called 'sanctuary sheriffs,' who are putting citizens at risk, across the Tarheel state, as stated by Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC).

"If you, as a local elected official, believe that your policies are consistent with your electorate and you want to do these policies, we’ll defer to the local government. But if you get it wrong, the victims are going to have rights," said in a 2019 press conference.

While it is highly doubtful that Paguada could produce the required 10 percent of his bond amount ($116,000) to a bail bondsman, but, if he could do so, he would be allowed to simply walk out of the door of the Cumberland County Jail.

Why?

Because, Sheriff Wright has made it a policy not to cooperate with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and will not honor ICE detainers.
