Authorities busted a human stash house and took 62 people into custody including immigrants without documentation and smugglers.
McAllen Police Department and U.S. Border Patrol responded to the scene at 12th Street and Whitewing Avenue.

The incident happened around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 13.
According to Lt. Morales with the McAllen Police Department, police assisted the lead agency, U.S. Border Patrol.

Those in custody were being transported to the Border Patrol station for processing.

A total of 59 immigrants without proper documentation and three smugglers are in custody.

Border Patrol is currently working to determine the citizenship of the three smugglers.
