63% Oppose Driver’s Licenses, Public Benefits for Illegal Immigrants Who Get Work Permits

Most voters still agree with President Obama’s new policy allowing some young illegal immigrants to get legal work permits, but they strongly oppose also making these young people eligible for driver’s licenses or taxpayer-funded benefits.

Seventy-three percent (73%) of Likely U.S. Voters believe someone brought to this country illegally when he or she was under 16 years old who has no criminal record, has graduated from high school or served in the military should be allowed to apply for a legal work permit. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just 19% think someone like this should be deported. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

The survey of 1,000 Likely Voters nationwide was conducted on August 16-17, 2012 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC. See methodology.

No, they should not be allowed to apply for a legal work permit. If their parents didn't break the law, they wouldn't be here. We have laws that were ignored. These kids should not be given special privaleges . IT'S NOT OUR FAULt either that they were taken here as children. Why should WE be penalized and have more competition in the workforce? Why should our citizens and those coming through the proper channels have to put up with this? NO, absolutely not, NO work permits for illegals, no matter how you got here.

So if someone robs a bank, and that bank robber gives their children all of the cash, should that parent be excused of their crime? And should our country allow the children to keep the money? They want a better life after all....that's why they did it.

If an illegal alien sneaks into your house and sets up housekeeping,
borrows your Social Security Number, masquerades as you, and takes your job,
takes over your house payments when the bank forecloses on your home,
has his wife move in with him and she bears his children,
then she gets a job or goes to school, leaving her children with you
to teach them American English and American manners
(paying you a fair childcare wage, of course),
and when you call the authorities, they won't come and pick up the kids,
but they inform you that you are obligated to educate them, or you go to jail,

you aren't going to kick the kids to the curb and

1* How closely have you followed recent news reports about President Obama’s new immigration policy?

2* Is the federal government making too much of an effort to identify and deport illegal immigrants in this country, not enough of an effort, or about the right amount of effort?

3* If young people are brought here illegally by their parents, should they be considered as lawbreakers?

4* Suppose someone was brought to the country illegally when they were under 16. If they have no criminal record, have graduated from high school or have served in the military, should they be allowed to apply for work permits or should they be deported?

5* Under a new federal government policy, young illegal immigrants are now able to obtain legal work permits in certain circumstances. If someone is in the country illegally but has been granted a work permit, should that person be eligible to receive a driver’s license and public benefits including subsidized child care and unemployment benefits from state governments?

So... 73% of likely U.S. voters believe that

an illegal alien, born on foreign soil of alien parents and smuggled into this country,

who is willing to do my job for less pay and benefits, or work {more or more compliantly | harder | longer | stronger | younger | amped up} for my same pay,

should be allowed to replace me and my family from our place in America,

putting us out on the Trail of Tears to the reservations FEMA has prepared for us.

There is a reason why cleaving to foreigners, enemies of the United States or the American people, allowing such aliens to invade the country, and assisting said aliens to displace or replace U.S. citizens or legal residents from their homes and their families, their jobs and their lives, is called

TREASON

and is rightfully, by law, punishable.
