    75 illegal immigrants arrested by ICE in north Texas and Oklahoma

    TEXAS (KAUZ) -A 3-day Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operation ends with 75 arrests in North Texas and Oklahoma.

    In a news release, the Department of Homeland Security said the operation was targeting criminal aliens, illegal re-entrants, and immigration fugitives.


    It began on Saturday, April 1st and ended Monday, April 3rd.


    50 arrests were made in the following North Texas cities: Abilene (5), Amarillo (1), Arlington (2),

    Canadian (1), Carrollton (1), Dallas (11), Denton (1), Fort Worth (1), Frisco (1), Garland (2),
    Lewisville (1), Lubbock (10), Muleshoe (1), Plainview (2), San Angelo (2), Slaton (1) and Tyler (7) and 25 arrests were made the following Oklahoma cities:
    Oklahoma City (1 and Tulsa (7.)

    ICE officials said all foreign nationals targeted during this operation has prior criminal convictions.


    73 of the people arrested were men the other two were women. They ranged in age from 18 to 61 years old.


    During the ICE operation Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) officers were assisted by special agents with ICE Homeland Security Investigations.


    In a news released Simona L. Flores, field office director for ERO Dallas said, "We specifically targeted criminal aliens during this operation and we improved overall
    public safety by removing 52 convicted criminal aliens from our streets throughout North Texas and Oklahoma. This was a focused three-day operation, but our routine operations occur daily."

    In the fiscal year 2016, ICE has conducted 240,255 removals nationwide and 92-percent of those people has previously been convicted of a crime.

    ICE agents arrest 18 in Oklahoma City during immigration raid

    DALLAS, Tex. (KOKH) — Immigration agents round up dozens of illegal immigrants in Oklahoma and Texas.

    Federal officers from U.S. Immigration and Custom's Enforcement made 25 arrests across Oklahoma during the office's latest raid, spanning April 1 to the 3rd. Officials made 18 arrests in Oklahoma City and another 7 in Tulsa.

    ICE agents made another 50 arrests in north Texas, including 11 in Dallas and 10 in Lubbock.

    In a release, ICE says 52 of the total 75 arrested during the three-day raid had criminal histories, and released summaries of several in Oklahoma.

    • On April 1, 2017, a 37-year-old citizen of Mexico was arrested at his residence in Tulsa. On April 1, 2015, the District Court of Tulsa County convicted him of reckless conduct with a firearm. Following his most recent ICE arrest, he was served with a notice to appear and will remain in ICE custody pending removal proceedings.
    • On April 1, 2017, a 40-year-old citizen of Mexico was arrested at his residence in Oklahoma City. In February 2017, the District Court of Oklahoma County convicted him of possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, to wit: cocaine. He was sentenced to 10 years (suspended). Following his most recent ICE arrest, he was served with an administrative removal order and will remain in ICE custody pending removal.
    • On April 2, 2017, a 37-year-old a citizen of Mexico was arrested outside of a residence in El Reno, Oklahoma by Oklahoma City Fugitive Operations Team members. On April 15, 2002, the 20th Circuit Court in Collier County, Florida, convicted him of aggravated battery. He was sentenced to two years confinement (suspended). On Oct. 3, 2005, he was ordered removed by an immigration judge in El Paso, Texas; ICE officials removed him to Mexico the same day. Following his most recent ICE arrest, his original removal orders were reinstated. He will remain in ICE custody pending his removal.

    In 2016, ICE conducted 240,255 removals nationwide. According to ICE, Ninety-two percent of individuals removed from the interior of the United States had previously been convicted of a crime.

    GO ICE!! We need much more, more faster, though. 5,000 agents with illegal aliens everywhere, sorry, we need 5,000 arrests a day on average. Come on guys, got to pick it up here.

    When do they get deported?

    Have any actually been deported or are we going to 'hold' them, pay for a trial, etc., etc.

    When they get most of the criminals out, beginning talking about parking the buses at the meat and poultry plants at quitting time-----
