8 illegal aliens arrested in financial tax scheme in Williston

WILLISTON, N.D. - The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Homeland Security Investigations conducted a search warrant at a location in Williston in January.

ICE says they have been investigating an ongoing financial tax scheme for the last 10 months.

On January 31, they say they arrested three illegal aliens in Wyoming and eight in Williston.

The Williston warrant was executed at Basil restaurant.
Of the 11 arrested, four are from Guatemala, four are from Mexico and three are from Indonesia.

ICE says a federal immigration judge will determine the disposition of each individual on a case-by-case basis. One already has a previous deportation.
