The lead sponsor of Arizona’s tough immigration law passed in April said he will pursue a new law that would restrict children of illegal immigrants born in the United States from obtaining citizenship — and his opposition is taking notice.

“I intend to push for an Arizona bill that would refuse to accept or issue a birth certificate that recognizes citizenship to those born to illegal aliens, unless one parent is a citizen,â€

Someone ask this aclu idiot if she has a better idea to keep our laws from being exploited for free citizenship by those (mostly Mexican) who come here to plop out babies for the anchor and benefits? Time for change as this isnt what the constitutional amendment was for and it IS being exploited a great deal.

All Jan Brewer has to do is declare Mexican illegal aliens are foreign invaders.

In 1898 the Supreme Court said the 14th amendment DOES NOT give birthright citizenship to the children of foreign invaders.

Let's see the ACLU negate THAT ruling!!!

It's not just Mexicans taking advantage of this either. There are travel companies that specialize in bringing pregnant women to the U.S. to give birth, thereby having an American citizen baby.

Yes I know about birth tourism, I think that would be impossible for a state to stop, only the feds could stop that.

I am so sick and tired with the ACLU! They can go to hell for all I care! The ACLU is nothing but a bunch of anti-Christian communist who hate America for everything she stands for! I don't know who died and made the ACLU the third branch of government but, it's beginning to piss me off more and more. The ACLU is not a part of our government and they are certainly not an authoritarian organization over our constitution. 99 percent of the time the ACLU goes against the constitution and misinterprets the constitution to fit their communist agenda. **** the ACLU!
