RHODE ISLANDERS FOR IMMIGRATION LAW ENFORCEMENT
RHODE ISLANDERS FOR IMMIGRATION LAW ENFORCEMENT

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Terry Gorman Monday, August 4, 2008 (401) 475-2410
The announcement by our Attorney General and Judiciary that they will continue the contracts with TriState and FalconÂ*after the latest arrests by ICE and our State Police of 31 alleged illegal aliens working in our courthouses continues to insultÂ*the intelligenceÂ*of the citizens of Rhode Island.
These two companies, and many more in our state, have been flagrantly breaking our laws for years. As far back as 2002 they were known to beÂ*fraudulently reporting the number of employees to the state and to the workers compensation insurance providers and were admittedly not filling out and filing the requiredÂ*federal and state employment records. And all of this was happening right under the noses of those whose responsibility it is to check on these matters.
Do the Attorney General and the Judiciary believe it's just a coincidence that subsequent to the arrests, 30 out of 35 custodians walked off the job in the middle of their shift at CCRI, two-thirds of the custodians working at the State House did not show up for work the next night,Â*and one of the custodians assigned to the Attorney General’s office did not report for work the next day?
It has been said that "perception is reality" and for any one that agrees with this cliché, in this case, that would be a scary thought. In order for this fraud to have occurred and to have continued for so long, someone in our State government had to be complicit in this fraud. It is impossible for these actions to have occurred in this time of intense scrutiny of the illegal immigration debacle without someone in a position of authority in our State governmentÂ*keeping it under the radar.Â* Whoever allowed these crimes to be committed is just as guilty as the parties committing them.
The actions of these companies’ require that their contracts with the state be terminated. Retaining law breaking companies to appease one segment of our state community is a disgrace, and does a disservice to all law abiding citizens and companies in Rhode Island. It is the responsibility of the Attorney General and the Judiciary to uphold and enforce the laws of the state of Rhode Island. The laws of this state were established to provide for the common good of Rhode Island and all its legal citizens, including Cesar, and cannot be selectively enforced based on the potential impact on any one individual or group of individuals. A government that allows for the selective enforcement of its laws is a government that has implemented a plan for its own demise.

It seems that whatever level of government, local, state or federal, refuse to believe that the American people have any intelligence whatsoever.

Courts retain cleaning companies
12:05 PM EDT on Thursday, July 31, 2008
By Tom Mooney
Journal Staff Writer
The state courts plan to keep doing business with two cleaning companies that the Carcieri administration fired last week after 31 of their custodians were arrested as suspected illegal immigrants.
And Attorney General Patrick C. Lynch is also sticking with the one custodian he has left, even though the worker’s boss and the president of the company has admitted to ignoring a federal law to keep certain documents on his employees.

They will get there punishment, they're not going anywhere. Illegal aliens however MUST be detained until they are prosecuted, sentenced and ultimately deported. They are flight risks. The more we can identify, the better off we will be. It will be easier to catch an illegal who was previously deported, regardless of what aliases they use, as long as we have their fingerprints on file.
