Agents seize 8,700 rounds of ammunition headed for Mexico

Federal agents seized 8,700 rounds of rifle ammunition that was headed for Mexico, officials said Monday.

On Feb. 11, Customs and Border Protection officers working with AFT agents stopped a 2002 Chevrolet Monte Carlo at the Douglas border crossing.

Officers found 580 boxes— 8,700 rounds — of 7.62 mm ammunition hidden inside the vehicle. The type of bullet is commonly used in military style rifles.

The 19-year-old male driver from Tucson and an 18-year-old female passenger were arrested and turned over to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives for prosecution.

Allow Arizona Governor and Sheriffs to steepen and enforce laws it will cease some of the increasing crimes occurring in Arizona.

Since Arizona State has been sued to hinder crackdowns on illegal aliens hideous crimes are increasing in that State daily. Has anyone noticed?
When you aid and support criminals, you live a criminal life style yourself:
