Local Effort to Free Border Patrol Agents
Two local radio personalities are spearheading a national effort to get border patrol officers released from prison.

Crews from the Fox series American’s Most Wanted were in the WTVY-FM studio Tuesday morning to interview Amy Pollard and KC Carlisle.

U.S Border Patrol Agents Jose Compean and Ignacio Ramos are serving 12 and 11 years respectively for shooting a Mexican attempting to smuggle marijuana into the United States.

Pollard and Carlile say they believe these men were simply upholding their sworn duty to protect the Unites States.

The DJ's are asking listeners to call the White House.

“We have many voices together that can move mountains. We have been calling every morning at 9 and emailing everyday and we're going to be relentless. There are a lot of things being covered up and we're out basically to expose those,” said Pollard.
