Advocates to make last ’DREAM Act’ pitch to Brown
By Associated Press | Sunday, December 12, 2010 | http://www.bostonherald.com | Local Politics
Immigrant advocates say they’re making a last-ditch effort to push U.S. Sen. Scott Brown to support the "DREAM Act."
A coalition of advocates, educators and religious leaders have scheduled a press conference Monday at Boston City Hall to pressure the Massachusetts Republican to vote for the federal proposal.
It would allow some illegal immigrants to qualify for permanent legal residency by graduating from college or a trade school or by joining the military. The Senate is slated to vote on the measure this week.
Brown has said that he opposes the bill and sees it as "amnesty."
Brown has also been a target of a national campaign by advocates trying to persuade the moderate Republican to support the proposal.

Thanks guys; I'll be calling him and others too.
As a reminder, here's what he said about this topic when he was running for the Senate:
Immigration
I recognize that our strength as a nation is built on the immigrant experience in America. I welcome legal immigration to this country. However, we are also a nation of laws and government should not adopt policies that encourage illegal immigration. Providing driver’s licenses and in-state tuition to illegal immigrant families will act as a magnet in drawing more people here in violation of the law and it will impose new costs on taxpayers. I oppose amnesty, and I believe we ought to strengthen our border enforcement and institute an employment verification system with penalties for companies that hire illegal immigrants.

Just fired off an email, thanks for the link. I hope to set aside 2 hours mid-morning to make my calls, but as it is I have a 12 hour work day ahead of me. ( Although I'm not thrilled to be back on the road working the racing circuit, I thank God I had a trade to fall back on!)
