ICE: More Than 950,000 Illegal Immigrants With Active Deportation Orders At Large

While the media are busy creating an atmosphere of terror surrounding President Donald Trump’s recent illegal immigrant deportations, official statistics from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement paint a much different picture — one of a woefully understaffed agency struggling to keep up with a massive backlog of deportation orders.

The 683 illegal immigrants arrested by ICE in early February constitute a mere 0.07 percent of the 950,062 illegal aliens with court-issued deportation orders as of May 21, 2016, ICE reported.

In response to questioning by the Senate Judiciary Committee in May 2016, Thomas Homan, the current acting ICE director, revealed that the agency is struggling to work its way out of a massive backlog of almost 1 million illegal immigrants with “final orders of removal” issued by immigration judges.

In addition to ICE’s staffing shortages, immigration experts lay blame on sanctuary cities for allowing the situation to spiral out of control.

“The question I think people should be asking is: Why are there so many criminal aliens who are at large?” Jessica Vaughan, a director at the Center for Immigration Studies, told the Washington Examiner.

“Why does ICE have to take to the streets to find these people? One reason is because so many criminal aliens have been released by sanctuary policies. If you look at the list of cities where these operations took place, many of them are sanctuaries. ICE has to do these kinds of operations when they are prevented from arresting criminal aliens while they are in jail,” Vaughan added.

In Homan’s answers to the Senate Judiciary Committee, he stated that “individuals on ICE’s non-detained docket with final orders of removal are released under conditions designed to ensure their compliance with their immigration obligations.”

Vaughan argues sanctuary cities allow individuals with deportation orders to essentially ignore ICE’s requirements.

“The ‘conditions’ they mention usually means ‘own recognizance,’ or no conditions, or bond, no reporting requirements, or calling an automated phone line to check in, or wearing an ankle bracelet, or checking in with an ICE officer in person — in that order of frequency,” Vaughan said.

“In other words, most of these people were just in the wind,” she concluded.

Yes we have all those law breaking sanctuary cities to thank for this. Unfortunately these criminals will commit more crimes and will now be deported, but how many Americans have to die to make that happen.

The Judges are to blame for this too. No free pass to the Judges who have aided and abetted illegal aliens and DUMPED them back into our neighborhoods to commit more crimes.

They need to be investigated and relieved of their duties!

Why do we first don't end citizenship to anchor babies and build the wall, before any amnesty coming..?
