    McCain gets backing:3 Cuban-American Reps

    Friday, Feb. 2, 2007 8:16 a.m. EST
McCain Wins Backing of Cuban-American Reps.

Republican Sen. John McCain picked up the support of three Cuban-American lawmakers whose backing in his presidential bid will carry sway in the swing state of Florida.

Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, Rep. Lincoln Diaz-Balart and Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart, all Republicans from Florida, said they will support the Arizona Senator should he officially decide to seek the presidency.

"Senator McCain is a strong supporter of the U.S. embargo on Cuba and understands that the Cuban people have been living under tyranny for far too long," Ros-Lehtinen said. "John has been working with us to help bring freedom and democracy to the enslaved island."

The Diaz-Balart brothers who I know personally also have Fs on their ABI grade cards.
I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Perfect Trio. A Trio of Traitors who will not stop until the entire United States of America is like Miami, Florida.

ALIPAC should carefully pay attention to the number of House Republicans planning to back John McCain presidential run because this could be the perfect way to measure the support his immigration plans would receive inside the GOP house caucus.

Now, those 3 cuban americans in south florida were guaranteed republican votes for the senate immigration bill because all 3 of them hates Tancredo with a passion because of his insult toward the city of miami.

Why ALIPCA should care?, because the GOP house caucus has to get as many GOP house members voting against the senate immigration bill as possible and force the democrats to press those few conservative republicans that dont want to vote for this thing.

For every republicans that joins McCain and Bush, Pelosi will be able to release a conservative democrat that thinks voting for this immigration bill will be poisonous for their re election bid.

Here's the guaranteed YES vote for the senate immigration bill in the house.
    1.Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen
    2.Rep. Lincoln Diaz-Balart
    3.Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart
    4.Rep. Chris Cannon
    5.Rep. Jeff Flake

Im sure Bush and McCain has more supporters inside the GOP caucus and it will be very hard for Tancredo to begg them not to cross party line, specially when he's not liked inside his own caucus.

I remember when Mike Pence attempted to build a brige between mass deportation and amnesty and along with senator Hutchinson of TX, they presented a bill that was so much tougher then what we have in the senate but Tancredo pretty much attacked them a labeled Pence plan "Amnesty"..A plan that demanded all illegal immigrants to self deport and come back throught the legal process.

Now, Tancredo will have to begg Pence, a man he attacked, to tell his supporters, which he has plenty of and is much more respected then Tancredo, to vote against the senate bill...Pence has already stated that if the Tancredo people had taken their deal, they would've not be in such a defensive position today...Pence bill offered a compromise to make all of them to leave and return throught new legal channels which was a big problem because they were here illegaly, and now, because of tancredo, those people wont even have to go back home.

    Thanks Tancredo.

Come on, the Pence plan WAS amnesty. Mexican illegals would not have gone through the same legal process as everyone else, it let them reapply to come back in one week!!

Also if I am not mistaken, didn't Tancredo back Pence for the House Republican leadership role?

Now I understand you don't want Tancredo for President, well stop worrying because he won't be. But what he will do with his candidacy is pull BOTH parties toward immigration enforcement rather than amnesty.

    BlueJersey,

You seem very concerned about Tancredo's run for president.

    Everyone else!

Looks like we have a potential candidate because BlueJersey is sympathetic to illegal aliens because he was one. That is until his marriage restored his visa status. However, he's still not eligible for citizenship and may never be. Oh, and he will not be voting in the next presidential election either.

His candidate selections are biased because he is hoping for amnesty.

All this foreboding talk about amnesty is really wishful thinking on your part BJ.
