Ann Coulter to Trump: ‘Bring Our Troops Home, Put Them on the Border’

9 Sep 2018New York Times best-selling author and populist conservative columnist Ann Coulter says President Trump must follow through on his promise to bring American troops home, telling him to take them out of the Middle East and place them on the United States-Mexico border.

During an interview with talk radio host Joe Pags, Coulter called on Trump to bring American men and women home from Afghanistan and put them on the southern border to defend the country from mass illegal immigration.


“He hasn’t brought the troops home and did you see we had more troops die Afghanistan just a few days ago,” Coulter said. “What on earth? Why… bring them home and put them on the border.”


Coulter pushed back against the assertion that Trump does not have the power to build a wall—as he promised—on the U.S.-Mexico border:

He’s Commander-in-Chief, he can pull out his pocket Constitution and show it to anyone who challenges him. He has the entire Department of Defense budget, he has the entire Homeland Security. His job is to defend the borders the same way he can stage an attack. [Emphasis added]
If we were attacked, he doesn’t need to wait for Congress. We’re under attack. [Emphasis added]
I don’t care if he has Boeing build the wall if he’s so committed to the Military Industrial Complex. But we got to have a wall and he ran on building a wall and I knew he’d do this. [Emphasis added]

This week, Breitbart News reported how more American troops were killed in Afghanistan after President George W. Bush’s administration decided to invade the country nearly two decades ago.
Nearly 2,400 American troops have been killed in the war in Afghanistan while close to 4,500 Americans have been killed in the Iraq War since 2003.

remember what you said you take care of your Country .& we take care of our country well listen to what Ann Coulter said about our Troops have them come home & go to down to the Border we need them home (let Afghanistan do what they have to do that it ) this has to stop . That's a pretty damn good idea if you ask me.

Seems like common sense when a country is invaded but then I'm not a politician.

I looked up how many troops we have in Afghanistan, and it's not clear, but I think it's around 15,000. We were down to 10,000, then Mattis wanted to increase and have a last ditch effort to try to defeat the Taliban, so it looks like it's up to 15,000 now, but a few of those may be NATO troops from other countries. So somewhere in that range. So if you moved them all to the Southern Border, it would be another 12,000 to 15,000 boots on the ground to supplement our 25,000 BP agents and 4,000 National Guard. So that would be a total border force of 41,000 to 44,000.

Americans have been saying this for years. Mexico is our enemy not the middle east. Mexico has dumped millions of their poor and sick and criminal on america. What has iraq ever done to us.?

Exactly. Or Afghanistan or Russia or Iran or North Korea? We put sanctions on them and starve them, yet we have some who think it's too harsh to put economic sanctions on Mexico and Central American countries to stop this madness invading our country and killing and harming our people, every day for years and years.
