Ariz. governor creates legal defense fund for law

PHOENIX — Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer is creating a legal defense fund for the state's tough new crackdown on illegal immigration.

Brewer created the fund in an executive order signed Wednesday.

Her office says Brewer already has received about $10,000 in unsolicited donations from more than 40 states.

Opponents of Arizona's law have filed five lawsuits claiming the law is unconstitutional and could lead to racial profiling of Hispanics.

The law requires police enforcing another law to investigate the immigration status of people they suspect are in the United States illegally.

I'm so sick of this over useage of the phrase, "Racial profiling!!!" The majority of illegal aliens in this country ARE HISPANIC!!! Everyone knows this and THEY FLAUNT IT!!! That's why it makes more of them suspect to being illegal than anyone else!!!!

If a guy robs a bank on the corner and all the witnesses say, "The robber was a caucasian male with red hair..." Are the cops racial profiling if they are looking exclusively for that red haired caucasian dude? HELL NO!!! It's how they solve crimes!!

They don't waste their time pulling over Black men with black hair or Hispanics with black or brown hair just to make sure that caucasian males with red hair don't feel "picked on" or get their feelings hurt while they're searching for the criminal!!!! Everybody needs to get off this crap of racial profiling!!! Mexicans are the biggest perps when it comes to illegal immigration!! PERIOD!! The media and these La Raza groups need to quit using asinine word games to keep law enforcement officers from doing their job!

Hispanics have been instrumental in encouraging other Hispanics to come here illegally, so if those that have encouraged others of their "race" to come here illegally and to become fugitives from the law by not abiding by it and the "legal ones" get caught up in the dragnet, while law enforcement is trying to sort them all out...well then it serves them all right for participating in the usurpation of this country by encouraging foreigners that look just like them to break our laws.

Isn't it odd how not one person making this claim can ever answer a direct question about what, specifically, is unconstitutional about the law?

All we ever hear is some vague grumbling about alleged "denial of due process".

And maybe sometime in the future someone "could" slip on a bar of Coast in the shower and hurt themselves too.....does that mean we start filing suit now? Because it "could" happen?

What would it do to every aspect of life in this country with a precedent set whereby suit can be filed based upon the premise that something "could" happen?

While we're at it, let's also file suit to stop law enforcement from using any kind of profiling to solve any kind of crime in this country. Just do away with it altogether.

See how these people like that when there's a serial armed robber, rapist, or other criminal lunatic on the loose in their neighborhoods and the police don't have the ability to "profile" in an effort to catch them. :roll:
