U.S. Border Patrol Agents Arrest Alien Involved in Burglary
(Friday, January 28, 2011)
Tucson, Ariz. – The Douglas Border Patrol Station was contacted Thursday by the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office with information regarding a residential burglary.
Border Patrol agents identified an illegal alien in their custody as a possible suspect in the burglary. Evidence in the man’s possession, including watches, casino chips, and a toy car, indicated that he was linked to the burglary. The suspect was turned over to the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office to face charges for the burglary, criminal damage, and criminal trespassing.
The Border Patrol continues to work with our local, state, federal and tribal law enforcement partners to remove criminal aliens from our communities. The cooperation and communication between agencies enhances law enforcement efforts and helps to improve the quality of life along the border.
“The Border Patrol remains committed to enforcing the law and ensuring that those who engage in illegal activity receive a consequence for their actions,â€NO AMNESTY
