State cracks down on illegal immigrants in schools
    Sep 20, 2005, 07:20 PM

Arizona is cracking down on illegal immigrants attending school.

The problem surfaced after a surveillance video showed kids living in Mexico crossing the border at Lukeville to go to school.

Arizona taxpayers end up footing the bill for non-residents attending school.

State schools chief Tom Horne, says they're taking extra measures to make sure kids are residents.

Horne says they're requiring various of forms of I-D to prove the kids are eligible to attend Arizona schools.

In the original argument in Plyler vs Doe in favor of the providing of taxpayer funded education to illegal immigrants
the reasoning was for those of student age existing here as of 1982.

Since then a few million students have been educated at the general populations expense despite the cost being greater than what the illegals pay in taxes. The availability of the subsidized education has been a major contributing factor for further illegal immigration. Now we are faced with demands from advocates for subsidizing their college educations as well.

This article shows that there really are no limits to these outrageous demands. Housing is cheaper on the Mexican side of the border. They are treating the American taxpayer funded benefits as a buffet. Dartenos mas de la educacion, servicios de salud tambien y ch*ngaste con sus leyes de immigracion.
I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
