In 2008, all members of Utah’s congressional delegation signed a letter to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security suggesting what many in the state believe: Undocumented immigrants are responsible for much of Utah’s crime.

What difference does it make that someone who broke into your house commits more or less crime than the average person? Their first act here was to break the law! They are already untrustworthy, period. One crime by a person who has no right to be here is one crime too many. We don't need to tolerate any crime from them, THEY HAVE NO RIGHT TO BE HERE MORONS! Quit spending your time figuring out meaningless statistics and figure out strong punishments to get them out of here and keep them from coming back.

Ummm. 100% of illegals have committed a crime. I don't think that is true of the rest of the population. By being in the country illegally they are committing a crime every minute of every day. And because they are here illegally they commit other crimes to cover up their illegal status.

Absolutely!! Now why didn't the stupid professor take that into account along with the fact that redpony353 raised that they all broke the laws and do so every day they're here and add that to the crimes against the "general (native) population" and honestly show the direct criminal impact on US citizens?
