BENTON COUNTY - Ark. —
Luis Mario Torres-Rodriguez, of Springdale, was arrested Saturday accused of raping an 11-year old girl.
According to a probable cause report from the Benton County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called after a child told a family member what had happened to her.
The report states the child was taken for an interview at the Children's Advocacy Center, where she told the interviewer that Torres-Rodriguez texted her to come out and say "hi to each other," then when she tried to leave, he pulled her back and to the ground, and raped her.
A relative told deputies "she had looked on the SnapChat mapping to see if she could see where [the victim] was and noticed it showed Torres-Rodriguez was on the property near or in the barn."
The report says the girl's father also said Torres-Rodriguez had been texting his two other underage daughters in regards to sending him nude photos and other sexually related requests.
Torres-Rodriguez was arrested in the Cave Springs/Tontitown area, and was taken in to custody on Saturday, July 28.
The report says they confirmed through the Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System (IAFIS) that Torres-Rodriguez was in the country illegally.
He is being held on a $100,000 bond. His first court date is set for September 4.
