    Police to Seize Vehicles of ILLEGAL Aliens

    ATLANTA (AP) - Police would have the power to seize cars from illegal immigrants stopped in a traffic accident or cited for driving violations under a plan approved Thursday by the Georgia House.

    The proposal faced fierce criticism from Democrats who feared the measure could run afoul of state and federal law, but it earned support from Republicans who argued it would protect citizens from illegals who “thumb their nose at the state law.â€

    Critics said the measure is unconstitutional because it doesn’t provide due process for taking the vehicles.
    They have been seizing vehicles for years in drug arrests and other crimes without a problem. Why should this be different? Wrecked vehicles aren't any good to anyone except the scrap dealer.

    Aren't illegal aliens already running afoul of state and federal laws? Aren't sanctuary cities running afoul of state and federal laws?

    We wouldn't need proposals like this if we didn't have such a huge invasion of illegal aliens. Let's try enforcing our laws first.
