EL CAJON — The director of a social advocacy group in El Cajon said her office has been under siege since she publicly voiced opposition to Arizona’s controversial immigration law.
Estela De Los Rios, executive director of the Center for Social Advocacy, said there have been threats, vandalism and a burglary since she appeared on KGTV/Channel 10 on April 26.
She said an hour after she appeared on camera, a man came to their office on East Lexington Avenue and banged on the window. He pressed his knuckles against the glass in front of a volunteer and told her: “I know who you are, I know what you do and I’m going to kill you.â€
