Open Borders Exec: Trump Could Create ‘Goliath Deportation Machine’

    by JOHN BINDER
    18 May 2017
    Washington, D.C.

The open borders lobby is worried President Donald Trump’s immigration enforcement plan will become more effective, stoking fears over a “Goliath deportation machine.”

To executives at the pro-immigration organization, the American Immigration Lawyers Associated (AILA), the mere prospect of Congress aiding in Trump’s immigration enforcement measures is frightening. When the House Judiciary Committee held hearings on a slew of immigration enforcement bills, AILA did not remain mum.

“The House is giving President Trump a second try at creating the Goliath deportation machine that he asked Congress to fund a few weeks ago,” AILA Director of Government Relations Greg Chen said in a statement. “Collectively these bills establish a massive, militarized force that will detain and deport thousands more people while undermining the Constitution and depriving people of fundamental due process.”

Chen said immigration enforcement is a “burden on taxpayers,” costing “billions of dollars for more agents and detention,” suggesting that enforcing federal immigration law is “is not what America stands for and it’s not what Americans want…”

The President of the open borders group, William Stock, said in a similar, emotion-filled statement that enforcement of federal immigration law is the “antithesis” of what “our nation was built on.”

“Chaotic and ill-thought bills that undermine public safety, trample the U.S. Constitution, harm Americans and their families and waste millions in taxpayer dollars are the antithesis of what our country needs and the values our nation was built on,” Stock said of the idea of increasing immigration enforcement.

Stock then blasted Trump’s and Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ efforts to go after sanctuary jurisdictions.

“Just as the President has threatened to go after local sheriffs and police, these House bills create an unfunded federal mandate on localities to enforce immigration law even if it jeopardizes the trust they have with their communities, and ultimately public safety,” Stock continued.

Since Trump took office, the open borders lobby has taken some of the most extreme positions on the political spectrum. For instance, most recently, advocates have denounced the deportation of violent criminal illegal immigrants, as Breitbart Texas reported.

When Trump’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) opened up its VOICE office to help the victims of families impacted by illegal immigrant crime, one leader called the move “despicable,” Breitbart Texas reported.

    America,

While a Congress funded "Goliath deportation force" would brighten all of our days, there is nothing to compare to the already existing "Goliath deportation force" we have with state and local law enforcement agencies who love our country, care about our own citizens, and who respect the rule of law. Sign up for the 287 (g) program if you love our country, care about our own citizens, and respect the rule of law. You have the officers, trained, sworn, armed, equipped and available. You have the vehicles, the jails, the magistrates, you have everything needed to assist our poor beleaguered nation to solve this problem and end illegal immigration in the United States once and for all.

Sorry Mr. Chen most AMERICANS do want law and order, it's your ILLEGAL invaders who don't want this. America was built on LEGAL immigration, those that came before wanted to BE Americans the ones coming now want a free ride on the gravy train!

Simply build the Wall...cut off the freebies, including school and the anchor baby scam.

Thousands will deport on their own...saving taxpayers billions.

No asylum, no refugees, no illegal aliens.

Do not detain...deport within 24 hours and hand all unaccompanied minor's directly back over to their own President to care for.
ILLEGAL ALIENS HAVE "BROKEN" OUR IMMIGRATION SYSTEM

DO NOT REWARD THEM - DEPORT THEM ALL

Yes, exactly! But the local law enforcement agencies in these sanctuary cities have their hands tied behind their backs by the criminal mayors of these sanctuary cities. Some law needs to come on the books which makes it a criminal act or better yet, a federal crime for any major to protect illegals and illegally stopping local law enforcement from doing their job when it comes to illegals.

Yes, especially the anchor baby scam. But Beezer, I know you heard it a thousand times from me, that I would also include jail time and a heavy fine for employers illegally employing these people. I say punish the source of the problem. Let's pull the weeds out by the roots. Hopefully if we get E-Verify made mandatory by every single employer, that would pretty much do it. Along with jailing and fining employers who try to squirm their way around it.

Yes, but they need to speak up. In the meantime while the feds figure out how best to end this sanctuary city disaster, I think courts have blocked it for now, all the other state and local law enforcement agencies need to sign up, get involved, do the job, and show the amazing benefits of a legal population. No, it doesn't solve all of our problems, but it will solve so many problems related to illegal immigration that we'll have the time and resources to focus on the rest of the problems that are our own, many of which the people can resolve on our own without a bunch of hand-holding from the feds. When illegal aliens are gone, our citizens have jobs and better wages, less crime, better schools, cheaper more timely health care and lower taxes/government spending to name a few major benefits of ending illegal immigration.

I agree with everything here, and as I stated in the past on here, not only will crime go down from the criminal element in the illegal alien community, but crime will also go down among our cities black communities as well. You have heard me say this before Judy, here in Chicago I constantly see the violence in the black communities on the news, and one thing they ALWAYS say, is that they don't need more policing, but what they need are jobs. The black youth wouldn't be committing so many crimes if they had a job to go to everyday and contribute to society.

And like we discussed the trickle down effect in the past, Judy, not only would we be saving tons of money by getting rid of these illegals and making our streets safer, but the money going to these illegals wouldn't be getting sent back to Mexico or whatever else country they are from. Also, the money saved by having these jobs stolen by illegals, going instead to the black communities, would put this money right back in to our local economies because black people would be spending that money here, not sending it to Mexico. And also, these jobs going from illegals to our black citizens would also be contributing even more money to our local economies because first, these people instead of receiving welfare, which drains money from our budget in order to pay for it, would save that tax money to be reinvested in things like building or repairing infrastructure, which would create even more jobs. And second, going from welfare to gaining a paycheck from employment, taxes would be taken out of that check which would put even more money back into our local and federal economies and creating even more jobs.

Yes, I agree 100%. I have thought and posted for years that the first line victims in the United States of illegal immigration are black Americans which is why I can't for the life of me understand why as a political group they vote as Democrats whose policies are the ones who keep them poor, jobless and trapped in high crime, high poverty areas with no jobs and no options.

Exactly! The Democrats tell the black community what they want to hear and make them all kinds of promises, which sounds good, but then after getting the black vote, they will brush the black community aside and say, sorry, we tried but can't do anything at the moment, but don't worry, we'll keep on trying to "fight" for the black community.

Trump said it best when he said that the Democrats tell the black community a bunch of lies, and when they get elected, they all of a sudden forget about the black community until it's time for elections again. He also said how the Democrats have kept the black community in poverty for the last 40 years, which is very true. It's time the black community opens their eyes and start voting Republican. After all, they have nothing to lose. Voting Democrat hasn't done a damn thing for them in the past 40 or 50 years.
