    Federal agents raided a concrete factory in West Burlington Thursday and arrested 18 people on immigration charges, officials said.

    The detainees were employees of Iowa Prestressed Concrete, according to the U.S. attorney's office. The raid began at about 9:30 a.m. and the group was loaded into a bus and brought to Davenport for court appearances.

    The workers are accused of misusing visas, permits, Social Security numbers and other documents

    Hmmm.........."misusing" sounds like such a gentle word. Why not call fraud what it is, F-R-A-U-D.

    Every time I read about the illegals doing work like this I remember Jorge shooting off his mouth (and many others since him) that these "poor souls" are "only doing the jobs Americans won't do". Low pay, blah, blah, blah. I get so honked off at all the millions of jobs that have been taken from our country...one way or the other.

    Misusing a permit how do you misuse a permit and why would they have a permit? a Permit for what?
