SALEM — State police say three men were taken into custody at the Department of Motor Vehicles branch in Salem on Thursday after it was determined they were in the United States illegally.

According to New Hampshire State Police Detective Sgt. David McCormack, staff at the Division of Motor Vehicles office in Salem notified state troopers around 10 a.m. that four men were at the branch to have their fingerprints taken for work-related purposes.

DMV staff said one of the men produced a Mexican identification card showing his correct identity, and a passport belonging to another person.

State troopers responded and identified three of the men as Jose Gerardo Morena-Ibrra, 27, of Mexico; Alberto Olguin-Robles, 35, of Mexico; and Gilberto Cecenas, 38, also of Mexico.

State police and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) personnel determined all of the men were in the U.S. illegally, with one having been previously detained in 2014.

Olguin-Robles and Moreno-Ibrra were taken into custody by ICE, while a fourth man was released after it was discovered he was in the process of staying in the U.S. legally, state police said.

State police and ICE personnel determined Cecenas possessed a New Hampshire driver's license, which he improperly obtained in 1998.

He was taken into custody by state police and charged with five counts of tampering with public records.

Cecenas refused bail and is currently being held at the Rockingham County House of Correction, pending his arraignment at the 10th Circuit Court–District Division in Salem today.

Need to arrest them ALL at the California DMV's.
