    Bill shifts supervision of illegal immigrant juveniles to feds

    Convicted Arizona juvenile offenders will now be eligible to be turned over to federal immigration enforcement under legislation approved Jan. 19 by a Senate panel.

    After a brief period of questions for Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections officials, all six members of the Senate Public Safety and Health Services Committee voted to recommend passage of SB1046.

    Prior to this they were returned to parents or just released. With luck the Feds will take the kids and parents and pack them all off to the border.
