AZ - Border agents bust two in trunk

TUBAC, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Border Patrol agents stopped an immigrant smuggler when they found two Mexican nationals hidden in the trunk while inspecting a car at an I-19 checkpoint on Feb. 17.

The front passenger was also determined to be an undocumented alien. Agents arrested the driver.

Later that evening, agents encountered a stolen 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix with several occupants. The Department of Public Safety responded and took custody of the vehicle and all occupants.
