Border agents stop 16 drug smugglers

U.S. Border Patrol agents from Yuma Sector located four abandoned backpacks containing marijuana near County 9th Street and the Salinity Canal on Sunday, in one of several incidents in which 16 people were apprehended for drug smuggling and approximately 951 pounds of marijuana was seized.
