AZ - Border Patrol arrests sex offender

Yuma Sector Border Patrol agents arrested a Mexican national following a vehicle stop on Sunday after confirming he was a convicted sex offender who was in the country illegally.

Blythe station agents were on routine patrol near Wikieup when they stopped a vehicle on Highway 93.

During questioning, agents learned that the passenger, Alvaro Perez-Lopez, was illegally living in the United States.

A subsequent records check also identified Perez as a convicted sex offender out of Santa Rosa, Calif. He was convicted in September 2009 and removed in December 2011, via San Ysidro.

Perez will be processed per Yuma Sector guidelines.

Just more proof that deportation alone is not an answer to aliens in America. It should be a large portion of the answer along with near perfectly secure borders and ports! After 30 years of uncontrolled borders our response now must be unquestionably loud and recognizable to all other nations. Expensive, yes, but procrastination always demands consequences, so now we must pay it with cash or deaths of American children by disease! Maybe this will motivate us to do the right thing, just maybe? Do not re-elect too many of the same.
