The Fairhope Police Department has arrested more than a dozen people, they say, were running a cockfighting ring in Baldwin County.

FAIRHOPE, AL - On Sunday at 12:26 p.m., officers responded to a report of a cockfight in progress in a wooded area off Red Barn Road. Ramon Jose Chavez, age 27, of Summerdale, charged with conspiracy to promote gambling, cockfighting, and cruelty to animals.

According to the investigation, the promoters were charging admission and selling alcoholic beverages to attendees.

In all, twenty live birds were seized and are being held by Fairhope Animal Control for evaluation. Several birds were located at the fight that had already been killed; some had been placed in holes for burial.

Several juveniles were also present. Due to their ages, 10 to 14, they were not charged and were released to other family members.

The Fairhope Police Department is working with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to determine the correct identity of 12 of the arrestees. The undocumented aliens are being held at the Fairhope Municipal Jail at the request of ICE in accordance with federal regulations.

Cock fighting is just another part of the culture that is being imported. If you go to a flea market. or mercado as they have been turned into, in AL you will see a lot of roosters for sale.
The illegals don't pay taxes, they work for cash a go to the mercados/flea markets on weekends to buy from each other. Most have a baby carriage with their little "ticket" parked in it next to the booth that they are running that is full of knockoff/bootlegged goods, and of course they only take CASH.
It is time that Alabama started to crack down on the underground economy and bootleg merchandise.

    How many are illegals?
You cannot dedicate yourself to America unless you become in every
respect and with every purpose of your will thoroughly Americans. You
cannot become thoroughly Americans if you think of yourselves in groups. President Woodrow Wilson

The irony here is that ICE is being FORCED to step in when illegal aliens are killing a a few old roosters for sport while the US Congress sits idly by while thousands of Americans are being murdered each year by illegal aliens.

WHAT is being done about THAT?
