Hospitals get help for providing migrant care

PHOENIX (AP) — The federal government has reimbursed Arizona hospitals and doctors $92 million over the past two years to offset unpaid bills for emergency care provided to undocumented immigrants.
Arizona hospital executives say they are grateful for the financial help, but it’s still not enough to offset the bulk of costs associated with providing emergency health care to illegal immigrants.

To make up the shortfall, hospitals say they are forced to raise the costs of basic hospital services for everyone else.

Rep. Charlie Norwood (deceased) from Georgia mentioned the crippling effect these illegal aliens were having on small town hospitals and emergency rooms/departments. We cannot support this continued bilking by illegal alien families. Hospital closings, higher insurance, loss of medical personnel due to financial strains, and the fact that the American people cannot be asked to taxpayer fund illegal alien health care to their own detriment.

Mexico needs a big fat bill sent from the U.S. government.

Too bad there isn't some way to tax the greedy business people who hire illegals, that's who really ought to pay!
