SUNIZONA, Ariz. - Authorities say more than 1,500 pounds of marijuana has been discovered in a stolen truck involved in a rollover accident in southeastern Arizona.

Arizona Department of Public Safety officers responded to an accident scene Tuesday night on State Route 181 near Sunizona, which is about 40 miles south of Willcox.

The DPS says it appeared the driver of the pickup lost control for an unknown reason.

The truck had been reported stolen from the Marana area on August 25.

The DPS says the driver - a 25-year-old man from Agua Prieta, Mexico - was injured and flown to a Tucson hospital for treatment.

Authorities say the man will be facing multiple felony charges after he's released from the hospital.
