    University of Arizona professor Sandra Soto used a podium at the Social and Behavioral Sciences commencement to talk about SB1070 and a recent protest at TUSD.

    She got booed and jeered.

    Since I wasn't there, I could only watch the drama unfold on Twitter. Students are asking whether it was inappropriate to use graduation for a political speech. What do you think?

    I'm glad this journalism/political science student caught it on video so we can see for ourselves.

    Just imagine what would of happen had a teacher stood up and gave a speech in support of SB1070!!

    She may not find it as comfortable to assert her PRO-ILLEGAL, Open Borders, anti-United States agenda outside of her classroom when her audience is not held captive by their desire for a grade.

    This Is no place for a political agenda to play out

    If I were a graduating student I would have thrown down my cap,took off my gown,and walked out ... Bringing politics and ones personal beliefs to a graduation ceremony Is hitting ROCK BOTTOM. This so called professor Is a loser,and she needs to keep her personal political views to herself. This so called teacher used this graduation ceremony to highlight her,and/or the schools political agenda to the detriment of this graduating class. This should have been THEIR DAY,not hers or her schools !! TS
