Houston CBP Arrests Traveler with 4 Warrants

Houston – U.S. Customs and Border Protection is transferring custody today of a man wanted in Nebraska on four outstanding warrants.

Rodrigo Ortega Garcia, 37, a Costa Rican national, is wanted for three narcotics and firearms violations and one theft charge in Madison County, Neb. U.S. Customs and Border Protection was holding Ortega Garcia for attempting to illegally enter the United States. Ortega Garcia arrived at Bush Intercontinental Airport, August 26 and presented a passport allegedly belonging to someone else. Customs and Border Protection officers arrested Ortega Garcia.

Nebraska law enforcement officers contacted CBP to request Ortega Garcia be extradited to Nebraska to face charges on the outstanding warrants.
