MIAMI -- A special agent with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Miami was arrested Wednesday on federal bribery and embezzlement charges.

According to an indictment, Ramon Llorca, 44, of Plantation, agreed to register an individual as a confidential informant in February in exchange for a $5,000 payment. The money was to go to a Little League baseball team on which Llorca's son played.

He is also accused of embezzling $2,500 earmarked to pay a confidential informant between October 2006 and January.

If convicted, Llorca faces a maximum sentence of 35 years.
