AZ: Top officials hinge careers on immigration

Top officials hinge careers on immigration

    The Arizona Republic

Gov. Janet Napolitano came closer than ever last week to a full-blown conflict with Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio over their differing approaches to illegal immigration. The governor ordered $1.6 million in state money to be redirected from Arpaio’s operations to a state-led task force charged with arresting many of the state’s 60,000 fugitives. Arpaio and other Republican leaders reacted with outrage. Napolitano responded by saying her move wasn’t aimed at the sheriff, but at protecting the public from dangerous felons.

Nice fluff peice by the Repugnant.

For how things are going here in Phoeinx you need to be tuned into KFYI 550 from 4 to 7 PM AZ time zone time for all the west coast is now on AZ time. And you would know that there is a RECALL of the Mayor on going at this time and all they have to do is get 25,000 people who can vote and live in Phoenix to sign and they are shotting for 45 to 50,000 names and I think they just might get them.
As for the Governor she signed her own ticket out of office making a behind the scenes deal with the Contractors. Link here Http://www.eastvalleytribune.com/story/115945 and be sure to read the letter from the HBACA that you will find on the site.
Next up is Sheriff Joe: he has the backing of over 80% of the Phoenix Police force and the guy that is running agaisnt the Sheriff is a Police Chief in a small town and all the officers on his police force back the Sheriff. And most important of all is all the Border Patrol here is AZ back Sheriff Joe.
What more could you want for some one who wanted to keep and uphold the laws of this land even if those in higher office are to lazy to due the job that they SWORE TO UP HOLD.

Great News, BigMonkey, from the front lines. It's good to see Sheriff Joe has good support from the locals there, cause I'd say he has 100% of ALIPAC'ers. So, Joe should get re-elected unless large numbers of illegals fraudently vote.
