Real ID law facing resistance

Katherine Toro-Massó says she knows of at least 22 Latino families who have moved or are moving out of the Lafayette area because of a law that could take their driver’s licenses from them this week.

Proponents of the law believe that’s proof that illegal immigrants are here and the law is doing its job. Latinos in the area believe the law will tear the community apart.
