The Starr County Sheriff's Office has requested the public's help in identifying a man's body found along the river bank west of Rio Grande City on Jan. 11.

A Texas Department of Public Safety boat crew found the man's body south of Midway Road.

The man is identified as having black hair, a beard, and a mustache. He is about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds, according to a news release from the Starr County Sheriff's Office. The man has a Pancho Villa tattoo on the right side of his stomach, a scorpion tattoo on the right side of his chest, a "Santisima Muerte" tattoo on the left side of his stomach, a tattoo on the left side of his rib cage with the name "Carolina" in cursive writing, and two fighting roosters on the upper left side of his chest, according to the news release.

Investigators found the man wearing black jeans with a green and brown leather caterpillar belt and Nike shoes, according to the news release.

He was found with no identifying documents. An autopsy indicated no foul play.
