    Binational Collaboration Leads to the Rescue of Five Individuals

    A Border Patrol agent provided them with water through the International Boundary Fence.

    CALEXICO, Calif. – U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Calexico Station in collaboration with the El Centro Sector Foreign Operations Branch, Mexican authorities and Grupo Beta rescued a group of distressed individuals on Tuesday afternoon.

    At approximately 4:40 p.m., when Border Patrol agents patrolling approximately 20 miles east of the Calexico West Downtown Port of Entry encountered five individuals requesting assistance.

    The individuals were on the Mexican side near the International Boundary Fence and appeared to be suffering from fatigue and dehydration.

    A Border Patrol agent certified as an Emergency Medical Technician arrived on scene, evaluated the individuals and provided them with water through the International Boundary Fence.

    The Foreign Operations Branch were notified and they advised the Mexican authorities and Grupo Beta of the situation. Agents continued to monitor the individuals while awaiting for the Mexican authorities to arrive.







    Mexican authorities notified the Foreign Operations Branch that all subjects fully recovered and were doing well.

    At approximately 5:45 p.m., Mexicali Police Department and Grupo Beta arrived on scene.

    The Mexican authorities medically evaluated all five subjects and they took them into custody.

    I hope they were fingerprinted and never allowed to come into our country.

    This invasion of our country must stop!

    Glad they were stuck on the other side...WALLS are working!

    Now get giant boulders on that Rio Grande to keep them out and keep the drugs out.
