Organizing for Action, the offshoot of President Obama’s campaign committee, is now supporting Republicans — a few of them, at least.

OFA has begun demonstrating in favor of Republicans who publicly support a new path to citizenship for illegal immigrants, along with urging them to pressure their colleagues to join them.

On Monday the group dispatched its activists to districts held by several such Republicans: Reps. Jeff Denham (Calif.), Joe Heck (Nev.), Dave Reichert (Wash.), Paul Ryan (Wis.), Aaron Schock (Ill.) and Dan Webster (Fla.).

Few House Republicans have publicly expressed support for a path to citizenship, and the GOP-controlled House has opted to press forward with border security bills rather than comprehensive immigration reform that includes a new path to citizenship.

House leaders have said they will not vote on the comprehensive bill that passed in the Senate.

Here are the local recaps of the events for Ryan and Schock.
